NRR Calculation:-

Team A's Net Run Rate = (Total Score of Team A / Total No of Overs Team A Faced)- (Total Score of Opposite Teams / Total No Of Overs Oppsite Teams Faced)

This calculation is a bit tricky because you have to be aware of certain rules:

(1) 1.5 overs means one over and five balls, not one and a half overs (2) If a team is dismissed before the full allotment of overs, they are considered to have batted for the full allotment of overs. (3) The team is assessed based on the allotted overs. If this changes during the course of a match because of interruptions, the revised number of overs represents the full allotment.

Example: Team 'A' faced 46 + 50 + 47.3 + 34.4 overs

(1) If you punch in those figures on the calculator, you will get a wrong answer because 47.3 overs is really 47 overs and three balls.Recall that one over in cricket has six legitimate deliveries. (2) The easiest way to avoid making mistakes is to count the overs and balls separately. (3) That way, the total is 177 overs and 7 balls, which would give us 178 overs and 1 ball (178.1 overs).

(1) Calculate Total Runs Of Team 'A' And Calculate Total Runs Agaisnt Team 'A' (2) Calculate Total overs of Team 'A' And Calculate Total Over Against Team 'A'

Step-2

Determine the Run Rate (1) Convert the overs to balls And Add Balls (eg: 19.4 OVers = 19 x 6 + 4 Balls) (2) Divide the runs by the number of balls to work out the runs per ball (Runs / Balls) (3) Multiply that result by six to get the Run Rate.(Result x 6) Convert into over again
